December 13, 2017 - Port Vila, VanuatuAthan Arizanga was Team Guam athletics lone competitor for the day. He ran the 400-meter race finishing his heat in 53.12 seconds setting a season mark. In a race that had five false starts over two heats, Arizanga finished heat two in eighth place ending his stint at the X Pacific Mini Games in Vanuatu.According to Team Manager Joshua Ilustre, “Arizanga did quite well for himself in the race and I am proud of his performance.”Competition continues tomorrow with Shania Bulala running in the 200-meter race while Amanda Cruz competes in the Discus throw.
